FIVE Dying Light 2 Skills You Should Learn Right Away

FIVE Dying Light 2 Skills You Should Learn Right Away

Here are several skills you should learn early on, ranging from an air kick to a firmer grip
Dying Light 2, the enormous sequel to the 2015 original from Techland, is an open-world action-adventure game with RPG features. As you may think, there are a plethora of skills to acquire. Some are beneficial. Others, though, are less enthusiastic. There are also a few enticing ones that may appear to be something you'd like to learn early on but that you should really avoid at first, such as the double jump. It isn't all that wonderful! Instead, here are some skills that will come in handy in the early hours. You should get them first. Don't even think of doing the double jump.

Before we get into the skills themselves, let's take a look at how leveling works in Dying Light 2. There are two trees to explore: Combat and Parkour, each of which has 24 available talents. Before you can unlock any talent you choose, you must first achieve a particular stat requirement, such as having 180 health points, as well as a necessary skill (for some abilities). To gain the Parkour talent Slide, for example, you must first obtain the Sleek Runner ability and have at least 160 stamina points.

You get experience points by doing acts that correlate to the two skill trees (i.e., fighting for combat, jumping for parkour). Upgrading your stats is a another topic (or blog? ), but the simple version is that you need to discover inhibitors all around the planet. To raise Aiden's health and stamina points, you inject yourself with these inhibitors, booster injections that seem like steroids or something. This increases your resistance while also allowing you to acquire various powers in the skill trees.

Now, let's look at some Dying Light 2 talents you should learn early in the game.
Dying Light 2 Combat Skill: Air Kick

Combat Skill: Air Kick

Requirements: Unlock Vault Kick, the tree's initial talent.

Because you'll be spending much of your time on rooftops, you should be able to get the jump on an adversary and deliver some damage before they realize what struck them. That is exactly what the Air Kick is. The Air Kick is an aerial jump kick that is done by descending into foes. You may unlock it as soon as you obtain a Parkour upgrade point, and you won't be sorry if you do. Dealing with the robbers on Villedor's rooftops has been a fantastic move for me. Air-kick them to their deaths, then bang! During the day, parkouring became a little easier.
Dying Light 2 Firm Grip

Parkour Skill: Firm Grip

Requirements: Unlock High Jump, the tree's initial skill.

This is a no-brainer, especially given a miscalculation of the distance between roofs might result in a nasty splat. Firm Grip is a skill that strengthens your fingertips so you don't tumble to your grave when clutching ledges from high heights. It is unlocked with a single Parkour upgrade point. This is a life-saving device. I'd jump from roof to roof all the time, only to find Aiden incapable of hanging on long enough when things went bad early on. Firm Grasp alleviates this annoyance by guaranteeing that you keep your grip while parkouring.
Dying Light 2 Dart

Parkour Skill: Dart

Requirements: Unlocked High Jump; 140 Stamina Points

To unlock this one, you may need to accumulate Parkour upgrade points, since it demands you to improve Aiden's stamina stat with inhibitors at least three times to obtain the requisite 140 points. Nonetheless, you'll need the Dart skill early on. It provides a quick burst of speed, allowing you to leap greater gaps, reach higher ledges, and run longer on walls (once you unlock that skill). Again, you spend a lot of time on rooftops, either sprinting from point A to point B or evading a zombie attack. Darting in both instances not only offers you a competitive advantage, but it also allows you to cover more ground. It was a must-have throughout my game, especially combining it with other abilities—Far Jump, for example, makes it even more successful in the long run.
Dying Light 2 Power Attack

Combat Skill: Power Attack

Requirements: Unlock Vault Kick; 120 Health Points

Similar to Dart, you'll need to hold onto a Combat upgrade point for a minute until Aiden's health stat increases to 120 points from 100, which requires just one set of inhibitors. But once you do, the Power Attack is a crucial battle power that you'll want to acquire early on. In fact, I found it to be a really useful battle skill. It works exactly what you'd expect: it delivers a powerful punch after briefly holding down the assault button. The move also temporarily stuns the opponent and causes a significant amount of damage. Really good for annihilating bandits or combining with other talents.
Dying Light 2 Safe Landing

Parkour Skill: Safe Landing

Requirements: Active Landing Unlocked, 140 Stamina Points

You'll most likely gain the necessary skill Active Landing early on, which decreases fall damage and preserves momentum upon landing. However, you should definitely take up the Safe Landing talent right after that. If you miss a leap, this is a must-have parkour talent. It's essentially a beefed-up version of Active Landing, increasing the height you may fall before receiving damage when you strike the ground. This will happen frequently, so instead of dying as a result of a mistimed leap, simply learn the Safe Landing talent.

This is only a brief list of Dying Light 2 unlockable talents, and you really can't go wrong with picking up any of the game's abilities early on. With the exception of the double jump. You'll be dissatisfied because it's both little and ineffective in comparison to other abilities. While I urge you to try with the two trees Techland has included in this sequel, there's no denying that some talents will be more useful when you're just starting out. May these tips instill confidence in you while you play the game. It gets dangerous out there, so be sure you have the necessary skills to survive.
