Saw X Editor Had Cops Called on Him for Working on Gory Scene

The fact that the sound design of Saw X was so realistic that it got the cops called on the editor is a testament to the skill of the filmmakers
The Saw movies are known for their graphic violence and gore, but one scene in particular from Saw X was so realistic that it got the editor's neighbors calling the police.

Steve Forn, the first assistant editor of Saw X, was working on the sound design for a particularly gory scene in the film when his neighbors heard the screams and called the police.

The scene in question features the "Eye Vacuum Trap" in which a character must escape from a device that is slowly sucking out their eyeballs. Forn had the volume up loud enough that his neighbors could hear the screams, and they were concerned that someone was actually being tortured.

When the police arrived at Forn's door, he explained that he was just working on a movie, and he even invited them in to see the scene for themselves. The cops were able to see that it was all just fiction, and they laughed about the incident.

The fact that the sound design of Saw X was so realistic that it got the cops called on the editor is a testament to the skill of the filmmakers. They were able to create a scene that was so believable that it made people think that it was real.

The story of the Saw X editor getting the cops called on him is a reminder that the sound design of a film is just as important as the visuals. When done well, it can create a truly immersive experience for the audience, and it can even make them believe that what they're seeing is real.
