Now that they release the cast members that will play in the Live Action Movie One Piece from Netflix, fans have some thoughts about it, how about you? share what do you think on the comment section below.

Monkey D. Luffy
One thing I really enjoy about this casting is that the prominent characters are played by up-and-coming actors, similar to how the MCU casts emerging stars like Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston to play important characters like Thor and Loki.
As a result, Iaki Godoy appears to be an ideal fit for the role of the future Pirate King. The Netflix introduction video clearly demonstrates that Godoy retains the same naive and exuberant charm that makes Luffy so endearing.

Godoy has largely appeared in South American films, with a few exceptions being Netflix originals. Godoy will also appear in the upcoming Netflix sci-fi series The Imperfects.
For what it's worth, in Volume 56 of the One Piece manga, Eiichiro Oda disclosed his intended real-world nationalities and ethnicities for his pirate gang. So far, this casting has stayed true to that, with Luffy already stating that he is South American.

Roronoa Zoro
Mackenyu Arata is the most prolific actor among the One Piece cast members who have been confirmed. This Japanese-American actor has appeared in a variety of films and television shows, including Pacific Rim: Uprising.
Mackenyu has also appeared in live-action anime films such as Rurouni Kenshin: Final Chapter Part I - The Final and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable - Chapter 1. He even portrayed the lead in the next Saint Seiya film.

Needless to say, Mackenyu is an excellent choice for the part of the stoic and powerful Straw Hat pirate. Oda has always considered Roronoa Zoro to be the only Japanese member of the crew, as seen by his martial mentality.
We're optimistic that Mackenyu, who has a diverse range of acting credits, can combine Zoro's severe exterior with his stoic dedication to his companions. We'll have to wait and watch if he fights with a sword on each arm and another in his mouth.

Nami
Nami, the crew's thieving cat thief and reliable oceanic navigator, is a crucial member of the Straw Hat Pirates and will be played by Emily Rudd. Rudd has been in a number of TV shows, including Dynasty and Hunters.
Rudd, like Godoy before her, is no stranger to Netflix shows or literary adaptations. She is most recognized for her work on the Fear Street trilogy, which is based on the works of RL Stine, the creator of Goosebumps.

With the first season of One Piece focusing heavily on Nami's past and motives, Rudd will have many opportunities to demonstrate her acting range, perhaps more than Nami's real combat ability.
Nami was one of two characters to swiftly trend on Twitter upon her reveal, and she was one of two characters to do so. Many fans on the internet feel Rudd resembles a real-life Nami.

Usopp
Usopp, the long-nosed liar and want tobe sea warrior, will be the team's comedic relief, yet he plays an important role in the crew's acquisition of the pirate ship, the Going Merry. Jacob Romero Gibson will take on this responsibility.
While it isn't as obvious in the manga and anime, Eiichiro Oda has revealed that he always imagined Usopp as black, just as he imagined Nami and Sanji as white.

Gibson has dreadlocks, something Usopp does not have. However, his father Yasopp appears in the series. It remains to be seen whether the series will cause Usopp to abandon his signature curls in favor of his father's locks, but it could work.
Gibson has been in a number of TV episodes as a guest star, notably Greenlead, where he plays a recurrent character. Hopefully, Gibson can put a fresh spin on Usopp's cartoonish timidity.

Sanji
Sanji is one of the most adaptable characters in the series and the final member of the crew to join. He is one of the best fighters Luffy has on his side. He juggles being a badass martial artist, a kindhearted cook, and a head-over-heels ladies' man on a regular basis.
Taz Skylar, famed for his work as a theatrical performer in London's West End, has been cast to play the multiple aspects of Sanji. He's also been seen in The Kill Team and The Reserves playing a variety of military roles.

Sanji, like Nami, immediately became a Twitter craze, with many comparing Skylar's appearance to that of rapper Eminem. Fans won't be content until they see Skylar with the character's trademark hair and curling brows, despite the fact that Skylar and Sanji share facial features and height.
When compared to the rest of the Straw Hats, Sanji's more volatile emotions may be the most difficult to portray. Hopefully, Skylar will be able to maintain this delicate balance, especially if this series continues past the time skip.

Here is the VERDICT of IGN Southeast Asia:

Overall, at first impression and upon closer inspection, this young set of actors may just offer their own touch to One Piece's characters, which may be exactly what the show requires.
Because Eiichiro Oda was intimately involved in the production of this series, he may have played a significant part in selecting these performers and bringing his characters to life. In terms of live-action casting, Netflix appears to have learnt from Death Note's blunders.

The casts of the live-action One Piece, Cowboy Bebop, and Avatar: The Last Airbender all appear to be promising.
What is actually troubling is how the series will depict the bizarre world of One Piece, its diverse people, and the special effects when it comes to the powers and conflicts that play an important role in the tale.

How are they going to make Luffy's elasticity appear natural? What will the appearance of fishmen like Arlong be like? How compressed will the tale be in order to cover the first 100 chapters of the series? These are the things that will make or ruin this One Piece live adaptation.
