Who's that NEW Pokemon?

According to Serebii, the new Pokemon was shown off in the latest issue of CoroCoro, and goes by the name of Magiana (マギアナ).


The site goes on to note Magiana is a “Man-Made” Pokemon, presumably in a similar bracket to Mewtwo, and has a “metallic body.” Also, Magiana was created over 500 years ago and is being chased by Volcanion, who apparently knows Magiana’s secret, what ever that is.

The new Pokemon is set to appear first in the next Pokemon movie titled Volcanion and the Exquisite Magiana.

What we don’t know at this point in time is whether Magiana will be introduced into the games – via a new game or part of the current generations. If it’s being chased by Volcanion, then the latter seems more likely.

Unless, of course, it could have something to do with the rumoured Pokemon Z game.
