What is the actual history of "Croctober"?

Croctober began in October 2017 when fans shared photos of themselves wearing Crocs on social media to commemorate National Crocodile Day. The corporation made it their official celebration month, and the custom has continued ever since.

"Croctober is one of our favorite times of the year," Crocs Chief Marketing Officer Heidi Cooley remarked. "A time to recognize our supporters, many of whom have backed us unconditionally since the beginning and who live at the heart of our business." Croctober giveaways and deals will most likely continue for those who have signed up for their email list.
