Human Reproduction
This module deals primarily with the male and the female reproductive tracts: their anatomy, hormones and the different biochemical and physiological actions as they affect various biologic and physiologic processes like menstruation, puberty, male and female sexual responses, pregnancy and lactation, menopause and male climacteric, and reproductive health. The role of the hypothalamus, the pituitary gland and specific target organs in the overall processes of growth, development and reproduction is re-emphasized.
