Robert Pattinson’s “The Batman” will be set in a different Universe
With Ben Affleck taking of the role as the Cape Crusader, and recently announced that, Robert Pattinson will wear the Cowl of The Batman. Many speculations roam around the internet that Matt Reeves’ version of Batman will not be in the same Universe as we have today.
We know but not sure, that Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie is in the same Universe with James Wan’s Aquaman, because of Mera saying that Aquaman fights Steppenwolf.
On the other hand, there is a credit scene in David Sandberg’s Shazam! trolls Aquaman by saying He cannot talk to fish.
However, the movie The Batman that targeted release in 2021, Matt says it is about “trying to find his footing”, and he had no plans of Ben Affleck’s Batman to be a part of his Movie.
Therefore, we can assure that Matt Reeves is creating his own Universe, other than the currently revolving Znyder’s.
However, the Fans will keep their hopes high to see another Justice League movie, bonding their favorite DC superheroes in the big screen. There are speculations as if Warner Bros. will be having a Flashpoint Universe, to feature all the characters in one movie, with different actors.
