[Review] Absolver - Videogame about Martial Arts

Kung Fu fanatics would love playing Absolver

ABSOLVER is set in an Open World with a very straight forward story and mission or goal, from start you are just a student or apprentice, and set to embark in a 60 level journey and make it to the top for being the best, and maybe build your own JODO and teach new students.

Although set in a Small Open World map, it is easy to get lost without having a Mini-Map on the screen. But you could always open it in Menu. The Play-Style is a Button Smashing, because of every Move or Action drains your Stamina Bar, so you need a specific timing to Attack, Block and even Dodge, the strike of your enemies, whether be PVE or PVP, or even in the Arena.

Moves are completely Martial Arts hand to hand combat, you could unlock moves by successfully dodging or blocking the enemy’s attack, given that you will be victorious in the end of every fight. Simply arrange your Combat Deck in 4 different stances.

You could use some weapons from Short Sword or Fist Weapon by picking up or summon by using shards, but those could break while using, or could knock out of your hands and use it against you. Leveling up your character is good for you, as you put some attributes into your character. For easier fights alone or with a Team Online.

We couldn’t resist of comparing this game to Dark Souls Series, but with its Martial Arts moves, it’s fun to watch, and surely you will play this for a long time, and also because of continuous updates from developers.
