There is speculation that Keanu Reeves may be in Death Stranding 2. Hideo Kojima, the game's director, shared a post on Instagram of Norman Reedus and Keanu Reeves hanging out, seemingly riding bikes somewhere. Both Reedus and Reeves have a strong passion for motorcycles, so it's possible that the photo was just a friendly get-together. However, the timing of the post has led many fans to believe that Reeves may be joining the cast of Death Stranding 2.
Keanu Reeves has previously starred in a video game, Cyberpunk 2077, so he is not opposed to the idea of working in the gaming industry. He is also a close friend of Hideo Kojima, so it would not be surprising if he agreed to appear in Death Stranding 2.
Of course, there is no confirmation yet that Keanu Reeves will be in the game. We will have to wait and see what Kojima Productions announces in the future.
In the meantime, I think it's safe to say that fans are excited about the possibility of Keanu Reeves joining the cast of Death Stranding 2. He is a popular and talented actor, and his presence in the game would be a major coup for Kojima Productions.
What is Death Stranding Game
Death Stranding is a 2019 action game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. It is the first game from director Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions after their split from Konami in 2015.
The game is set in the United States following a cataclysmic event which caused destructive creatures to begin roaming the Earth. Players control Sam Porter Bridges (Norman Reedus), a courier tasked with delivering supplies to isolated colonies and reconnecting them via a wireless communications network.
Death Stranding received generally positive reviews, with critics praising its voice acting, soundtrack, and visuals, with more mixed opinions regarding its gameplay and story. The game was nominated for and won several awards, including for game of the year. By July 2021, the game had sold 5 million copies worldwide.
A sequel, Death Stranding 2, is in development for PlayStation 5. It was announced at The Game Awards 2022 and is set to be released in 2024 or 2025.
