'Wormageddon' by Rick and Morty Is Stranger Than You Thought

Unless, of course, you expected a "global living episode" and a "treasure hunt" in which case, forget it
If you don't want to wait two weeks for the season six premiere of Rick and Morty, you don't have to—a new episode, the much-teased "Wormageddon," was released today! It's just not an episode that you can watch.

It turns out that "Wormageddon" is a series of 14 pop-up art installations that have been erected around the world—including every continent except Antarctica—that will somehow tell a story that will bridge the gap between the Citadel's destruction at the end of season five and the season six premiere.

According to a USA Today interview with show co-creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, five sites will be gradually exposed, but none will remain unlisted, at least until mad fans feverishly seek for them around the world. Those looking for (cryptic, perplexing) hints can visit the official Rick and Morty website and social media. At least the first location has been identified as Mexico City:
So grab your passport, spend thousands of dollars on plane tickets, or simply wait two weeks.
