Freebies and freebies are a tiny but crucial way for companies to demonstrate their appreciation to customers, and on Veterans Day, this includes providing free or reduced food to veterans, active-duty military, and military reserves. Red Lobster: Another big American seafood restaurant, Red Lobster, is also providing veterans with a free shrimp lunch, however this one is a little more substantial, since it includes Walt's Favorite Shrimp, fries, and coleslaw. Pilot: For Veterans Day, gas station chain Pilot is providing veterans of the military and their families with a free meal credit of up to $12. 7-Eleven: According to a press statement given to The Takeout, 7-Eleven, along with connected convenience stores Stripes and Speedway, is keeping this year's Veterans Day offer simple but customizable: military members receive a free Quarter-Pound Big Bite 100% all-beef hot dog on Veterans Day. Hot chili, melted nacho cheese, fresh onions, jalapeos, and pico de gallo are among the topping possibilities, allowing recipients to customize their dog anyway they like.
White Castle: According to QSR Magazine, all veterans and active-duty service personnel who dine at participating White Castle locations on November 11 will get a complimentary combination meal or breakfast combo meal. The meal will be packaged in custom-designed stars-and-stripes packaging with the White Castle trademark. No purchase is required.
Remember that to take advantage of these discounts, service members, veterans, and first responders will need to provide a military ID or proof of service.
