This month marks the 30th anniversary of the NetherRealm-developed series, and the studio has created a new trailer to emphasize the franchise's past and immerse gamers in nostalgia and enthusiasm. Keep your expectations in check if you're hoping for a special Mortal Kombat announcement. Who knows, maybe something like that will appear later this month. - but today's trailer focuses on Mortal Kombat's 30-year legacy in video games and other forms of entertainment.

As you can see, the video above does not announce any new movies, games, or even Mortal Kombat 11 DLC, but that's good since it's still a terrific watch, especially for lifelong fans.
