Greco Belgica
In 2013, he questioned the legitimacy of the pork barrel system in a contentious dispute in which the PDAF had been declared unlawful by three (3) earlier Supreme Court judgements. With a unanimous majority of 14–0, the Supreme Court found in favor of Belgica, ruling that the Pork barrel system is unconstitutional. This seminal case became known as the Belgica Ruling.
Alan Peter Cayetano
Cayetano was born into and nurtured in a political family in Taguig. His father was the late former senator Rene Cayetano; his older sister, Pia, is an incumbent senator; his younger brother, Lino, is Taguig's mayor; and his wife, Lani, is Taguig's 2nd district representative. Cayetano was the head of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games organizing committee. During his tenure as speaker, one of the most contentious problems was the refusal to extend the franchise of one of the country's largest networks, ABS-CBN, due to a variety of difficulties surrounding the aforementioned television network.
Joseph Victor "JV" Ejercito

From 2007 to 2019, he was a senator, and from 1998 to 2007, he was the congressman for Sorsogon's 1st district, as well as the House minority leader from 2004 to 2007. In 2016, he ran unsuccessfully for vice president as Grace Poe's running mate.
Jinggoy Estrada
A politician, an actor, and a film producer. He is the son of ex-President of the Philippines Joseph Estrada. He was Vice Mayor of San Juan in 1988 before becoming a Senator of the Philippines for two terms from 2004 to 2016. After serving one term, he was elected mayor of the town in 1992 and served until 2001. In 2013, he was appointed as the Philippines' interim Senate President.
Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan
President Duterte named then-Senator Honasan as Secretary of Information and Communications Technology on November 22, 2018, taking effect following the latter's senate term, with Eliseo Rio serving as interim secretary.

Loren Legarda

She was a senator twice before, from 1998 to 2004 and again from 2007 until 2019. She is the only woman in the Philippines to have won two senatorial elections in a row, in 1998 and 2007. She also ran for vice president twice, once in 2004 as Fernando Poe Jr.'s running partner and again in 2010 as Manny Villar's running mate.
Rodante Marcoleta
Politician who has served as SAGIP's Party-list Representative since 2016, and as House Deputy Speaker in the 18th Congress since July 2019 under the leadership of Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano and Lord Allan Velasco. Marcoleta is an outspoken opponent of ABS-CBN and was one of the 70 lawmakers that voted to deny ABS-franchise CBN's renewal.
Robin Padilla
Padilla is a supporter of the controversial Philippine drug war, hailing the campaign as "most successful" and claiming that extrajudicial killings are a legitimate part of the government's anti-crime strategy. He has also promoted Muay Thai in the Philippines, and donated ₱2,500,000 to the Muay Association of the Philippines. In 2007, Padilla established the Liwanag ng Kapayapaan Foundation, a pre-school for underprivileged Muslim children in Quezon City.

Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro
He was the nominee of Arroyo's Lakas–Kampi–CMD in the 2010 presidential election, which he lost to his second cousin Benigno Aquino III. Teodoro studied commerce at De La Salle University and law at the University of the Philippines. He was known for his efforts as the chairman of the National Disaster Coordinating Council when Mega Manila was hit by Typhoon Ketsana (Ondoy).

Philippine politician, who serves as a Senator of the Philippines. He took his senatorial seat following the 2016 Philippine national elections. He was a former Director General of the Philippine TESDA from 2010 until 2015 and a three-term congressman. Villanueva was the youngest member of the House of Representatives when he assumed office in February 2002.
Mark Villar
Philippine politician and businessman who most recently served as the Secretary of Public Works and Highways from 2016 to 2021. He is the son of former senate president and 2010 presidential candidate Manny Villar and incumbent senator Cynthia Villar. A member of the Nacionalista Party, Villar was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte to join his Cabinet on May 17, 2016.
Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri
Zubiri is a Filipino businessman and politician serving as the Senate Majority Leader since 2018, and previously holding the position from 2008 to 2010. Since 2016, he has been on his second stint in the Senate, first serving from 2007 to 2011. His resignation marked a first in Senate history, as other senators who left the Senate did so in order to take up another public office.
