A publicly traded gaming company has launched the "country's first" online conventional bingo site
On Thursday, Leisure and Resort World Corp announced the launch of BingoPlus, the country's first online traditional bingo (OTB).
The OTB, run by its subsidiary AB Leisure Exponent Inc, "is the country's first online traditional bingo" licensed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (PAGCOR), according to LRWC in a stock exchange filing.
According to LRWC, the game may be accessed online through streaming and also played on-site. According to the company, it allows players to enjoy the game from the comfort of their own homes.
According to the business, playing the game requires an Internet connection and a mobile device.
"One of the company's primary initiatives is to enhance online platforms in order to give clients with more and better playing options throughout the epidemic and beyond," LRWC president Andy Tsui said.
"OTB is a great way to enjoy bingo from the comfort of one's own home without missing out on social interaction and having the opportunity to win huge prizes," he added.
According to the corporation, OTB's soft launch is in accordance with the LRWC's aim of expanding its reach through online platforms. It went on to say that online conventional bingo is projected to become one of the primary income streams in the future.
