Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is suppose to be a DLC for the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, but with some delays, maybe Naughty Dog realizes that this game has more it could bring rather than just an expansion or just additional mission.
All through out the game, you play not as Nathan Drake but as Chloe Frazer; she first appeared on Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, as well as a second love interest of Drake besides from Elena Fisher.
Accompanied by AI-controlled Nadine Ross, the girls embark on a quest to retrieve a Native Indian artifact Tusk of Ganesh. And maybe, just maybe, it's time for the girls to do what Drake and Sully did for the last games.
The gameplay is pretty familiar, or rather exactly the same as The Thief's End mechanics, when it comes to climbing, shooting, driving, hiding, swinging, and hand-to-hand combat.
The thing we did notice is the additional weapon choices; you could even hide on tall grass to surprise enemies, and occasionally Chloe and Nadine tag along to take down a single enemy.
A Uncharted game is nothing without puzzles to open doors for a new location, and thankfully Naughty Dog is great at bringing those things for the fans, including this one.
Although set in an open world map of Western Ghats in India, The Lost Legacy offers a vast number of locations, such as underwater tunnels and hidden caves to explore and to find a rare loot that could be used to unlock character skins, concept art, and others.
This game has 10 chapters, instead of 20 plus chapters with the previous games, and an average of 6 hours for Straight Story gameplay, 8 hours maybe with a bit of collecting and exploring, or spend 10 hours to complete everything.
Although we could notice the similarities from other Uncharted games, with Nadine and Chloe taking us on a whole new, different adventure, we recommend this game even if you didn't play Uncharted before, so we give it 8 out of 10.
