The Pokémon Company recently announced two new animated series based on the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
Pokémon: Path to the Peak is a short animated series about a young girl named Ava who joins a Pokémon card club at school and eventually becomes a top player. The first episode will premiere at the Pokémon World Championships on August 11, 2023, and it's unclear if it will be available online the same day.
Pokémon: Paldean Winds is an online animated web series that will depict the youthful drama of several academy students as they come into their own, growing and learning as they attend school. The show is "coming soon" to the Pokémon Company's YouTube channel.
Both of these new series are sure to excite Pokémon fans of all ages. Pokémon: Path to the Peak is a great way to introduce the Pokémon Trading Card Game to a new generation of players, while Pokémon: Paldean Winds will appeal to fans of the Pokémon anime who are looking for something a little different.
I'm particularly excited about Pokémon: Path to the Peak. It's always great to see more female protagonists in anime, and I'm looking forward to seeing Ava's journey to the top of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. I'm also curious to see how the show will depict the competitive scene of the TCG.
I'm sure we'll learn more about both of these new series in the coming months. In the meantime, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that Pokémon: Path to the Peak will be available to watch online soon!
