The Beanie Bubble is an upcoming American comedy-drama television miniseries created by Kristin Gore and Damian Kulash, Jr. for Apple TV+. The series will star Zach Galifianakis, Elizabeth Banks, Sarah Snook, Geraldine Viswanathan, Tracey Bonner, Sally Winey, Joni Hirsch Blackman, Becky Estenssoro, and Mary Beth Sobolewski.
The series is inspired by the true story of the Beanie Babies craze of the 1990s. It follows the story of Ty Warner (Galifianakis), a frustrated toy salesman who created the Beanie Babies and turned them into a global phenomenon. The series also explores the lives of the three women who helped Warner create the Beanie Babies: Bonnie Strauss (Banks), Sheila Murray (Snook), and Maya Davis (Viswanathan).
The Beanie Bubble is scheduled to premiere on Apple TV+ on July 28, 2023.
