Part of Commonwealth Avenue will be closed from July to December for the construction of the Regalado Station of the MRT-7. The westbound half will be closed from 10pm to 5am from July 15 until November 26, and the eastbound half will be closed at the same time from August 8 to December 6.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes, such as:
- Turning right onto Pearl Street (Pearl Drive) or Regalado Avenue, passing through Ruby and Fairlane Streets, then turning right back onto Commonwealth Avenue.
- Taking the service road along the westbound side of Commonwealth Avenue.
- Using the U-turn slots located at Philcoa, Kamias, or EDSA-Kamuning.
The road closure may cause traffic congestion, so motorists are advised to plan their trips accordingly.
