Leicester maul Wolves to escape the relegation zone

Leicester City hammered Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 in the Premier League on Sunday to climb off the bottom of the table and out of the relegation zone
Back-to-back victories lifted Leicester to 16th in the table, while struggling Wolves suffered their fifth defeat in six games, dropping to 19th, as home supporters booed Steve Davis' team at the final whistle.

Wolves had a strong start, but it was Leicester who struck first, when a clearance fell to captain Youri Tielemans, who unleashed a shot from more than 20 yards out that arrowed into the top corner.
Harvey Barnes exchanged a one-two with Kieran Dewsbury-Hall before shooting a shot from an angle past goalkeeper Jose Sa to increase the lead for a buoyant Leicester side 11 minutes later.

In the second half, Leicester's leading scorer James Maddison opened space for himself on the outside of the box before sending in a low effort beyond Sa for his sixth goal of the season, leaving Wolves dejected.

Brendan Rodgers' side completed the sweep when they won the ball back from a careless Wolves side, and Jamie Vardy turned in Timothy Castagne's unchallenged cross as the 35-year-old striker scored their fourth goal and his first for the club.
