For watching the World Cup, you can get a free Chipotle meal

Chipotle is giving customers FREE Meals whenever the United States scores in the FIFA World Cup
In honor of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which begins this Sunday, Chipotle is conducting a "Bowls For Goals" promotion. (Here's how to watch the World Cup for free.) Whenever the United States national team scores a goal in the World Cup, Chipotle will give out free food that can be claimed until December 31.

How to Get Free Chipotle While Watching the World Cup

Simply watch the USA games and send a special code to "888222," which is said to originate from Chipotle and the USA. Every time the Americans score, the Men's National Team's official Twitter accounts will notify you, and if you're one of the first 5,000 people to text, you'll receive a coupon code for your free food. Of course, there are some restrictions: there is a limit of one code per cell phone every game, and Twitter may not even make it through the day, let alone the World Cup. Nothing is definite, and the cosmos is in a state of flux.

When does the United States play?

The World Cup begins this Sunday, Nov. 20, but the United States does not play its first game until Monday, Nov. 21 at 2:00 p.m. ET. The United States is in Group B with England, Wales, and Iran. The first match will be against Wales.

Configure notifications (if Twitter is still working)

Follow Chipotle and the United States. Men's National Team on Twitter and click the bell next to the Follow option on their profile sites to receive tweet alerts. Open a draft message in advance with the recipient "888222" so you don't have to put in the number while everyone else is racing to text them. Hopefully, after you get the push alerts, you'll have a leg up on the competition.
