LEGO Appears To Confirm Who Will Be The MCU's New Black Panther In BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER

A new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever LEGO set has been shown, which appears to clarify who will take on the role of Black Panther in the MCU, which was evident following the previous Funko announcement
A new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Funko Pop surfaced online yesterday, all likely confirming Shuri as the MCU's next Black Panther. The insignia on the mask mirrored the scientist's tribal makeup in 2018's Black Panther, and her taking up the role was always the natural next step.

The official release of a LEGO kit dubbed "Shuri's Sunbird" leaves little question that T'Challa's sister is taking over the mantle from her brother.

She isn't wearing the mask, but she is clearly dressed like the new Black Panther. Shuri was shown wearing this outfit in another recent LEGO set, together with M'Baku and Okoye. That eliminates them from contention, and Nakia's being here guarantees she will not be Black Panther. As a result of the process of elimination, Shuri is the apparent candidate for succession.

Because of the epidemic, actress Letitia Wright has unexpectedly become a contentious figure. Her vocal views on not being vaccinated apparently caused problems on filming, and there's talk that the film's finale was reshot to have her give up being Black Panther so that someone else could hold the title.

That's unfortunate, but not necessarily contradictory with the comics, since Shuri becomes Black Panther once T'Challa is no longer able to serve Wakanda in that position, and no one else has served in that capacity for more than a few of issues.

With that in mind, we'd argue that Winston Duke's M'Baku should be the next Black Panther, but we're guessing we won't know for sure until the film is published. This Black Panther: Wakanda Forever LEGO set, on the other hand, will be available in shops on October 1.

On November 11, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released in cinemas.
