Even if you're not watching the game, take advantage of these bargains
Even if you haven't been following football season, we feel required to inform you that it is coming to an end. Not because you should feel obligated to watch the playoffs and learn about the teams that advance, but because the Super Bowl is exactly two weeks away, which means food offers aplenty.
This year's Super Bowl LVI will take place on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. EST. You don't have to know (or care about) quarterbacks or touchdowns to take advantage of these meal deals.
To be perfectly honest, not all of these are exclusive to the Super Bowl: we've also included a few Valentine's Day food bargains and freebies that are also available on February 13th. Here are some things to consider when creating a meal plan for the big game.
Applebee’s
Though the chain has not yet revealed its yearly Super Bowl discounts, they have stated that in February they would be selling $5 "Smoocho Mucho Sips" drinks.
Carrabba's Italian Grill
This is technically a Valentine's Day bargain, but if you take advantage of it on February 13th, it becomes a Super Bowl discount. Anyway, from Thursday, February 10th through Monday, February 21st, you can have a four-course meal for two for $60, which you can enjoy in the restaurant or at home via delivery or carry-out.
DiGiorno’s
If the score at any time during the game matches the first three digits of Pi (3-14 or 14-3) the frozen pizza company will give out vouchers for one free pizza. To be eligible, you must register for the giveaway online between February 6th and February 13th.
Ibotta
The Ibotta app is now providing a "Big Game Party Pack" which is a collection of rebates on popular munchies. There are a lot of rules/instructions for this one, but it appears that new users of the app can earn a full rebate on the things in the party pack if they purchase all six products on the list. They are as follows:
- Red Baron or Freschetta frozen pizza
- Bubly seltzer water
- Mission tortilla chips
- Kraft sharp cheddar shredded cheese
- Lighthouse homestyle ranch dip
- Nestle Toll House chocolate chip cookies
For those who have previously downloaded and used the app, there is additional set of rules/instructions.
McAlister's Delicatessen
From February 12th to 14th, from 5-8 p.m., you may enjoy 50% off their new steak entrée products when you buy a new steak entrée item. You must order using their app and enter the offer code STEAK22.
McDonald’s
When you order using the McDonald's app, you can receive any two Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, or Filet-O-Fish sandwiches for $6.
Outback Steakhouse & Bar
From February 10th through February 14th, four-course offers start at $54 per person.
Wendy’s
These aren't Super Bowl-specific, but they are available on February 13th, so they count. To begin, if you begin your day with a breakfast sandwich, you may enjoy any size beverage for free when you order using the Wendy's app. With any additional purchase made using their app, you may also enjoy a free medium order of fries. You cannot, however, use both offers on the same day, so take your time.
