Not a Buffet Style For the price of ₱199, You Get What You Paid For

Don't get us wrong, we are not what they call "MAARTE" when it comes to food. So please read the entire blog.

First, the word BUFFET means a meal with several dishes, which are served in a Table, and the guests will serve themselves, or in other words "Self-Service"

For the price of ₱199 per person, anybody would think that a good deal, but when you came to their place, be ready for anything

We came on Saturday at around 1:00 PM expecting that the restaurant would be crowded, but I don't know but we are the only table occupied at that time, after 15 minutes a couple for another table was occupied, and after another 30 minutes another couple arrives

LOCATION:

They have 2 rooms for guests, each can fit maybe up to 40-50 persons combined, but they let us dine in a room that is not well ventilated, the room temperature was around 25 degrees and came up when people get sum up in the room

But to our surprise, that the other room was more spacious than ours, good Air Conditioning, and no one is using it.

CREWS:

Serving crew was great, very accommodating, and act fast when a customers need something, food serving was also quick, but as the post says, it's not Buffet style, but the crew will serve you what you ask to them

FOOD:

Now here come the problem, as the title says, You Get What You Paid For, really means that. For the price of ₱199, you can't expect more. But please don't post a picture or Advertise that you can't regularly serve

All of these Pictures are posted on their Facebook Account, advertising that you can eat all of those for a very low price, which is TRUE, but not actually like that.

A very promising servings, but these is what we get:

Ok, so get get all of what is written on the so called Buffet menu, but it all came down to the TASTE, again we are not experts, but also we are not newbies when it comes to trying food from various locations, and different approach, so we expect something from this restaurant

Pizza, we got 2 slices of maybe an all in or other says, Special, but what's wrong with it, is that they maybe used a Tomato Sauce instead of Pizza Sauce, you can immediately notice the difference

Pasta, When we got there, the serving crew approach us on our table and immediately told us that Carbonara is the only Pasta that they have, so we don't have a choice. But it lacks in taste, we most say "MATABANG", Maybe a bit more saltiness of Bacon bits or Cheese like others put on their own version

Kare-Kare, Now this is not what you will normally found in a American Themed Restaurant, because it's Origin is here in the Philippines, so we expect some twist on it, but what we get is a Crispy Lechon Kawali with only Sitaw or String Beans and nothing more, and just Spread with it's Sauce like they have a very limited supply

Shawarma, 2 servings on a plate, with tolerable fillings inside with Kebab Meat, with Tomatoes, Onions, and Sauce, but it's Pita Bread is so thin, that when you didn't consume those immediately, it will get firm. So, take that in mind

Burger, Now this is food that we expect more, because of their Facebook post and again American Themed, we all know that American-Style Burgers does have Bigger Patties and others Topping in between the Buns, but we got the usual Burger Sandwich with with Mayonnaise and Ketchup. No Onions, No Tomatoes, No Lettuce etc.

French Fries, tastes good, but not equally cooked, seems like fried in a Frying Pan, instead in a Deep Fried manner.

Sisig, So we have come to the most disappointing dish on the Unlimited menu, the Sisig, again its "MATABANG" and full of Onions, and lack in Pork bits, immediately can say it's just Onion Sisig and not Pork Sisig, so just for FUN, we separate the Pork, Green Chili Pepper, and a lot of Onions, and this is what we've got

You can see on the picture, that just a very small portion of PORK is on the serving, which is equal amount with the Green Chili Pepper, but with a lot of Onions

Milk Tea, Now with the Desert, we hoped that we finished our meal with nice cold, rich flavored Milk Tea, but with all the dishes that we've have before, it also lacks in something. We don't know if they did not put SUGAR in it, or did pour more Water on the mix, because it taste like an Instant Milk Tea Mix, same as the Chocolate flavor, not a Milk Tea but with just an Instant Chocolate Drink

But the biggest disappointment is that they served the Milk Tea Pearls already in a cup, and you just put some ice and the drink, so you won't have Unlimited Milk Tea Pearls.
