Things I Hate in PlayStation Plus (PS+)
PlayStation Plus or PS+ is a great idea for PlayStation gamers out there, with digital content, exclusive content and FREE games that they are giving away to gamers.
Imagine you do not have to go outside to but the physical game, just browse and click to download.
But in my case, that is not a good idea, and here are some of the reason Why I Don’t Like PlayStation Plus (PS+).
NOTE: These reasons are for Today only, and I could have change of hearth regarding this in the future. In addition, this is my Personal reasons, you may relate of conflict with these.
Subscription Fee
The Subscription Fee for a year in PS+ is $99.99 or roughly ₱5,133.39, that is an estimated of 102+ meals here in the Philippines.
Internet Connection
The Average Internet Speed here in the Philippines today is 3.7 Mbps, not even, close to what the Internet Service Provider (ISP) said in their Advertisement.
Not to mention on how much would that be to get that 3.7Mbps. You need to pay around $25 per month for a connection with up to 5Mbps, yes up to, no definite or exact speed that you can get. But they have a DISCLAIMER written in Ads, that sometimes a very small letters. With something like 80% reliable speed and stuffs like that.
Console Exclusive
One thing that gamers Nightmare, is when the console is broken, you cannot find a place that could repair the console, so you have to let go, and so to the games you bought in PS+ because it is for a certain Console only. Unless you buy another old console. In addition, if the time happens when PlayStation 2 was a Rare and no place to be found, and if you do, it will cost you as high as a new PlayStation 5. Then maybe good-bye for good.
Video Game Store
Yes, downloading from home is easy and cool, the thing I hate is that you don’t have to go to your favorite Video Game Store being greeted by store staffs, choose from a shelves of New Releases, purchasing the disc with an actual money, and when you got home, and ready to open the disc. You can feel the explainable excitement and the SMELL of newly opened Disc case. That is what I really missed.
All of us gamers are different, from the genre we play, character we used in battle, and how to get the games we play, but one thing we have in common, is the LOVE and PASSION we had towards gaming.
