As I sit down to write about my experiences with the burgeoning Dota 2 team, Ivory, I can't help but feel a sense of excitement and pride. This squad, although only three months old, is brimming with potential and ambition. They are on a mission to leave their mark on the professional eSports scene in Southeast Asia (SEA), and I am here to share their journey with you.

When I first met the players of Ivory, I was struck by their determination. Offlaner Glenard "Rupido" Rugay expressed a sentiment I deeply resonate with: “We believe we can eventually take down stronger teams through sheer practice and hard work.” This belief is not just empty talk; it’s a mantra that drives them daily.

The team has been grinding through practices and tournaments, and now they are the last Filipino Dota 2 team competing in the Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It’s an incredible opportunity for them to prove their worth against formidable opponents.

In this tournament, they face off against tough competitors like Myth Avenue Gaming, which features Filipino players Mark Anthony "Bob" Urbina and James "Erice" Guerra, as well as the Mongolian squad 123 Gaming and Team Helios from Indonesia. Despite these challenges, the players remain optimistic. Support players Carl Edric "Dric" Ricrafrente and Jomari "Grimz" Anis shared their confidence with me: “We are very confident that we can become champions here at the Predator League.”

Their preparation has been intense—waking up early for practice sessions and putting in hours of effort has started to pay off. “We are grateful because our hard work is finally showing results,” Dric told me. I admire this dedication deeply; it’s what separates good teams from great ones.

As they look toward the semifinals, they are acutely aware of the obstacles ahead. When asked about their biggest threat, the players unanimously pointed to 123 Gaming. Mid-laner Argle "Ken" Llesis noted that this team could be their toughest matchup if they make it to the finals.

What strikes me most about Ivory is their unwavering belief in themselves and each other. They know that while other teams may have more experience or resources, they have something equally valuable: a commitment to pushing beyond their limits.

In conclusion, I believe that Ivory has all the ingredients needed for success: talent, dedication, and an unshakeable belief in their potential. As they continue to compete in the Predator League 2025, I’ll be cheering them on from afar. Their journey is just beginning, but if they keep up this level of effort and determination, there’s no telling how far they can go in Dota 2.

Join me in following their progress as they aim for glory in the SEA region!
