Acer Goes Back to School with New Chromebooks and TravelMate Laptops


Get Ready for the Classroom with Acer's Latest Tech Innovations
With school back in session, Acer has just announced their latest additions to the TravelMate series of Windows 11 Education laptops, and four new Chromebooks – designed specifically for students.

Introducing the Acer TravelMate B5 14

At the top of the line is the new Acer TravelMate B5 14, featuring up to 12th-generation Intel Core i3-N305 processors and a battery life of up to 9 hours. This laptop is built for the classroom with its spill-resistant keyboard, reinforced IO ports, and shock-absorbent bumper that protects from drops of up to 1.2 meters. With Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, students can work anywhere with ease.

The TravelMate B3 Series Adds Two New Models

The TravelMate B3 series has added two new models: the TravelMate B3 Spin 11 and the TravelMate B3 11. The main difference between the two models is that the Spin 11 has an optional 11.6-inch FHD touch display with Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass. Both models have up to 10 hours of battery life on the Spin 11 and up to 9.5 hours of battery life on the B3 11.

Four New Chromebooks for the Classroom

Acer has also launched four new Chromebooks, including their first Acer Chromebook Vero model designed specifically for the education market. The Acer Chromebook Vero 712 features a 3:2 aspect ratio on a 12-inch HD+ IPS display and is powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core processor. The other three Chromebooks include updated models: the Acer Chromebook Spin 512 convertible with a 12-inch display, the Acer Chromebook Spin 511 convertible with an 11.6-inch display, and the Acer Chromebook 511 clamshell with an 11.6-inch display. All of these machines are powered by the latest Intel Processor N100 and N200 and have an option for 4G LTE connectivity.
