CEU Malolos has been recognized as an excellent HEI for its COVID-19 immunization program
Centro Escolar University Malolos was named one of sixteen Outstanding Higher Education Institutions for the Covid-19 Vaccination Program by the Commission, in collaboration with CHED (Commission on Higher Education)—National Capital Region (NCR) and the Office of Planning, Research, and Knowledge Management (OPRKM).
CEU Malolos was the single awardee for Region III for mobilizing physical and human resources that contributed to the achievement of the objectives of the National Covid-19 Vaccination Program and Deployment Plan. The University demonstrated the Bayanihan spirit by building unity and collaboration among key stakeholders in order to hasten the immunization of their students, staff, non-teaching workers, and even community members against Covid-19.
Dr. Ma, Vice President of CEU Malolos Flordeliza Anastacio and Dr. Esperancita Ferrer, Lead Consultant of the Health Services Section, earned the coveted prize during the recent Awarding Ceremony at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay.
The campus was also received the Safety Seal certification by the Local Government of Malolos prior to the start of the restricted face-to-face sessions to confirm its compliance with the minimal public health criteria to provide a safe environment for students and personnel.
