Axie Infinity's challenger is launching a game that rewards players with Bitcoin.

Popular NFT games like Axie Infinity and Crypto Blades prefer to reward players for playing to earn. One Bitcoin-based role-playing game is currently getting ready to face off against another.

Due to the possibility of monetary benefits and prizes for users, play-to-earn games have grown quite popular. When Axie Infinity was debuted, players could earn up to $50 a day by swapping in-game reward tokens, AXS, and SLP on exchanges.

Crypto Gaming United, a coalition of more than 1500 gamers, is led by venture capitalist Mark Carnegie, who believes that players may earn bitcoin as they play. Carnegie predicts that during the following 18 months, this number will rise to 100,000.
True Global Ventures partner Kelly Choo believes in the potential of play-to-earn games like Axie Infinity for gamers in emerging Asian countries.
In Europe or the US that could only mean maybe just a week’s worth of living expenses. In Asia, one of the exciting things about this whole play-to-earn is that a lot of these players are actually putting food on the table.

The concept of "play to earn" has spread beyond the Ethereum and layer 2 ecosystem. Muneeb Ali, the CEO and co-founder of Stacks, a user-owned internet initiative, recently tweeted about a Bitcoin-based role-playing game.

Because of the limited amount of Bitcoin block space, the game's territory is defined by this scarcity, and participants are compensated in Satoshis. To compete with games like Axie Infinity and Crypto Blades, the game is presently in development and will give BTC incentives, unlike its competitors.

NFT gaming is becoming increasingly popular as a means of making a career for gamers, and building up Satoshis along the road may be a game changer for those who play to earn in the long term.
