Uniqlo Singapore will debut AIRism Absorbent Sanitary Shorts, feminine care underwear with three layers to provide “all-day dryness” and prevent leaking, from September 13 in all shops.
The liquid-absorbing shorts layers dry fast, reduce odor, absorb up to 40 milliliters of liquid, and may be used instead of traditional menstrual products. They are constructed of a water-repellent laminated fabric that prevents liquids from seeping from the back to the waist.
The washable and reusable shorts cost US$22 and are available in four different colors and sizes up to 3XL. It can also be worn with a sanitary pad.
Other products in the collection include pregnant shorts and leggings, wireless bras, and seamless underwear starting at US$7.35.
The Japanese apparel business operates over 30 outlets on the island.
