Growing up with this movies are the best times, Showcasing Pure Talent of the Production team to make a Movie even on a very tight to no budget at all.

The Movies That Made Us is an American documentary streaming television series created by Brian Volk-Weiss, and a spin off to The Toys That Made Us. The four episode debut season of the new series is dedicated to popular movies from the 1980s and 1990s, and tells the stories behind them.

Season 1
Dirty Dancing [1987]
While holidaying with her parents at a placid resort, Frances is smitten with the resort's rebellious dance instructor. Her father opposes their relationship which creates a rift between him and her.
 
Home Alone [1990]
Eight-year-old Kevin is accidentally left behind when his family leaves for France. At first, he is happy to be in charge, but when thieves try to break into his home, he tries to put up a fight.

Ghostbusters [1984]
When Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz and Egon Spengler lose their jobs as scientists, they start an establishment called Ghostbusters to fight the evil ghosts lurking in New York City.

Die Hard [1988]
Hoping to spend Christmas with his estranged wife, detective John McClane arrives in LA. However, he learns about a hostage situation in an office building and his wife is one of the hostages.

Season 2

Back to the Future [1985]
Marty travels back in time using an eccentric scientist's time machine. However, he must make his high-school-aged parents fall in love in order to return to the present.

Pretty Woman [1990]
Edward, a rich entrepreneur, hires Vivian, a prostitute, to accompany him to a few social events. Trouble ensues when he falls in love with her and they try to bridge the gap between their worlds.

Jurassic Park [1993]
Industrialist John Hammond has created a theme park of cloned dinosaurs, Jurassic Park, on Isla Nublar, an island off the Costa Rican coast. After a dinosaur handler is killed by a Velociraptor, the park's investors, represented by lawyer Donald Gennaro, demand that experts visit the park and certify its safety. Gennaro invites mathematician and chaos-theorist Ian Malcolm, while Hammond invites paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant and paleobotanist Dr. Ellie Sattler. Upon arrival, the group is shocked to see a live Brachiosaurus.

Forrest Gump [1994]
Forrest, a man with low IQ, recounts the early years of his life when he found himself in the middle of key historical events. All he wants now is to be reunited with his childhood sweetheart, Jenny.
