McDo in the Philippines are Coordinating with the Authorities for the release of BTS Meal
As it prepares for the introduction of the highly anticipated BTS Meal in the Philippines on Friday, McDonald's Philippines has been collaborating with barangays to guarantee the safety of both customers and employees.
In a virtual media event on Thursday, Oliver Rabatan, McDonald's Philippines' assistant vice president for marketing and channels, said that some barangay tanods will help control lineups in front of outlets to comply with health protocols.
"We've proactively coordinated with different barangays and LGUs (local government units), informing them about the launch tomorrow, and even asking for their assistance,"
"We want to make sure everyone's safe,"
According to Rabatan, "a lot of preparations" are being made in their kitchens so that the BTS Meals may be served "quickly and safely."
"Hopefully, operations will be smooth as butter," he said.
