Because of Corona Virus or COVID-19, Philippine Government don't have a choice but to implement a Community Quarantine across Luzon. Meaning all establishment are also closed, so there is no other means of to go to work, and have funds to buy necessary things especially food. Luckly, DSWD is giving a Cash assistance to Filipino that are affected by this Quarantine.
DSWD is giving ₱5,000 up to ₱8,000 to Filipino household. The amount will vary depending on how much is the Minimum Wage on that area.
DSWD will provide a form, the Social Amelioration Card (SAC), to every Families in need, with the help of the Local Government Unit (LGU).
The LGU and a representative of DSWD will go house to house, and if you are qualified, they will give you the form right in front of door step. So no need to go outside and ask for the form personally.
The head of the family will fill-out the form in CAPITAL LETTERS, and after that, the form must be given back to the LGU, and the Family must keep the other copy of the form for monitoring.
But just a friendly reminder, this Assistance is purely SUBJECT to the level of need of the Beneficiary, that is why our Cooperation, Generosity and Understanding are needed, in order for this program to be successful
