They not only get the Medals, even more that you also wants to be an Athlete.

South East Asian Games (SEA Games) 2019 Opens last November 30 at the Largest Indoor Stadium “Philippine Area” located in Bocaue, Bulacan. Since then Philippines, bags Medals with almost double the count of the second placer.

Medals are given to the Athletes as a rewards for their hard work, if they excel in various competition. However, they will not only get that piece of metal around their neck, they also get these incentives:

20% DISCOUNT from all establishment related to the following:
Transportation Services
Hotels / Lodging
Restaurants
Recreation Centers

20% DISCOUNT on purchase of Medicine and Sports Equipment in the country

2% DISCOUNT on Theaters, Cinema Houses and Concert Halls, Circus, Carnivals and similar amusements.

FREE Medical and Dental Consultations in Government Hospitals.

PRIORITY in National Housing Programs.

SCHOLARSHIPS Benefits in State Universities and Colleges in the country.

Here are another list of Incentives, but this time its CASH Incentives, ranging from:
₱150,000 up ₱10 Million = Gold Medalist
₱75,000 up ₱5 Million = Silver Medalist
₱30,000 up ₱2 Million = Bronze Medalist

Now for SEA Games 2019, Medalist can assure the following:

Gold = ₱300,000
Silver = ₱150,000
Bronze = ₱60,000

These incentives was approved since April of 2001, so please stop making any other FAKE NEWS that the budget for hosting the SEA Games 2019 was overpriced.

And this in my opinion is one way to boost the morale of the players, and make their fellow citizens proud.
