The Darkest Minds (2018) - Movie Review


Imprisoned by an adult world that now fears everyone under 18, a group of teens form a resistance group to fight back and reclaim control of their future.

There is a new breed of mutants, no not the X-Men's New Mutants, its the teenagers developing and discovering their powers.

The Military Categorized their powers would as follows as seen in their eyes:
Greens: The Geniuses
Blues: With Power of Telekinesis or they can move objects by using their minds
Yellows: Kids that could able to control Electricity
Oranges: They had Mind Control power
Red: Pyrokinesis or they can breath fire

When teens mysteriously develop powerful new abilities, they are declared a threat by the government and detained. One of the most powerful young people, Ruby, escapes from her camp and joins a group of runaways who are seeking a safe haven. Betrayed by the adults in power, this newfound family soon realizes that running is not enough -- they must use their collective powers to wage a resistance and take back their future.

This movie is based on a book by Alexandra Bracken, and we could expect more movies in the future, because it's has 4 book in the series.
