The Real Reason Why Toys "R" Us Stores are Closing Down

The real reason for our beloved Toys Stores closing down some of its branches

Toys "R" Us has been around us since our childhood, particularly if you are born in the 80's to 90's. And we had a lot of fun going to the Toy Stores, it feels like its heaven for us kids back then, knowing that everything you want is there to have fun. From Action Figures, Dolls, etc.

But with their recent announcement to shut down some of the branches, many speculations and rumors and especially Questions float around our minds and on the Internet. What is the reason for closure?

Is it the increasing number kids preferred to have a Gadgets like Tablet of Mobile Phone to play with, instead of a actual Toy?, well maybe, and partly yes, but here is the real answer.

Somebody says its about the Birth Rates in the US, in the recent years there is a massive drop rate on giving birth in the country. We all knew that Kids is End-Customers of the Stores, so if there are no Kids, meaning there are no Customers.

According to Business Insider post, The store sales declines this past few years because of Increasing Cost of Labor, and due to competition with Online Sellers or Retailers like Amazon. People doesn't bother to go the Stores and pickup the Toys themselves, they just browse the website, order, and wait for the delivery.

With just a fraction of the Toy's cost, we cannot ignore that its convenient for the consumers, instead of driving to the stores only to find out that they are out of stock.

So, clearly its not just about the technology taking place toys for kids. Buts still we do hope for the best for our kids to experience what we had when we play with our friends.
