Students are encouraged to produce innovative results, generate new knowledge or theories, or explore new frontiers of knowledge or application areas. The course requires the students to present a proposal project which includes the concepts and methodologies.

The course is framed around carefully considered course goals and specific, achievable learning outcomes that focus on the higher level learning competencies.
